About Curtis Jenson Photography

Hi, my name is Sean.

I opened Curtis Jenson Photography on the 18th June 2005. I have been taking pictures for the past 29 years and I was 13 years of age when my father bought me my first SLR camera which was a Canon AE1.
 
In 2003 I found myself redundant. I had been shooting weddings on a part time basis and decided to turn my back on my engineering background and do something that I was passionate about. I looked at other photography studios and realised that I could provide products with at least the same quality but at a much more competitive price and that is what we have achieved. I say "we" because behind every great man there is a better woman and luckily for me she also happens to be my wife Mandy.

A Child-friendly Photography Studio

"Why is it called Curtis Jenson?", I hear you ask. We named our photography studio in Walsall after our two young sons Curtis and Jenson as we felt that they have been so good for us that they may bring us luck. Having 2 young children we are extremely child-friendly and we love the patter of tiny feet about the place. Since we opened the studio we have found that we are getting a lot of repeat business which I would like to think is because we are doing something right.
